I had a great dinner last night with my former boss, current mentor. We were discussing how paralyzing fear can be, specifically in my case, the fear of taking the jump out in the business world my own. The fear I had of what I didn’t know, if I would fail, who would judge me, was I good enough, etc. was completely clouding all the potential and dreams that I was meant to fulfill on.
She reminded me of a great acronym for fear as follows:

Interesting and so true. It is that which truly does not exist that kept me from doing what I knew to be true to my heart for so long. I am human and thus will always have irrational fears, but the more in tune I am to their inauthenticity, the more I can keep moving in the direction I intend with passion and an open heart.
